On development
Segno is an innovative multi-sensory artwork currently in development, set to be installed at the Parco Sculture del Chianti in Tuscany, Italy. Designed to create a universal language, this project aims to connect people worldwide through shared empathic experiences. Once completed, the sculpture will function like an acoustic instrument, emitting sound that mirrors the emotions of those interacting with it, allowing participants to express their feelings through music.

Crafted using proprietary technology, the sculpture’s surface will uniquely generate sound based on the emotional input of its audience. After interacting with the artwork, participants will receive a personalized link to download their own musical composition, along with detailed information about the project and its collaborators.
A dedicated app is also under development, which will enable users to access their audio creations and explore sounds generated at other future installations of Segno around the world. This will foster a sense of global connection, uniting individuals through a shared emotional network.

The app will also offer a virtual exploration of the different exhibition spaces, enhancing the immersive experience of Segno. Additionally, the artwork will gather data to create emotional graphs, incorporating details like geographic origin, age, and other relevant characteristics. These insights will provide a deeper understanding of emotional expression across diverse communities, enriching the overall experience of the project.
